Combining Photographs
I specialise in combining different photographs to make them look ‘as one’. It might be that you have favourite photographs of each person that you want combining, or that it is not possible to have a picture of your chosen people or pets together.
I use my skills on Adobe Photoshop to collage together different layouts before we decide on the perfect composition. I can also sharpen blurred photographs and colourise black and white photographs. The references could be from original photographs, scanned or digital copies.
Only once I have seen the photographs and we have discussed your needs, can I give you a quote for the artwork. Each piece is totally individual, and a specific size could take varying times depending on the amount of detail involved.
People & Portraits
I like to enhance the natural colours which I see in the photographs. My current preferred materials to use are soft pastel or gouache paint. However, I am proficient in most materials. I have a degree in Illustration and have been a high school Art Teacher since 2007. I would be more than willing to consider different media if required. Please just ask.
Pick a Size
I offer a range of sizes to suit your needs. Below is just guide. It really does depend on the reference photographs. The faces need to be a certain size to look their best. If the size is not listed below, please contact me to discuss other options.

Once completed, I will scan your portrait, colour correct on Adobe Photoshop and send a high-resolution digital file off to a professional printing company.
The paper it will be printed on is, ‘Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper, which is created to give artists an authentic fine art paper, this stunning paper offers excellent colour representation, giving finished prints a beautifully elegant fine art feel. Updates & Progress Photographs
I can give you updates, progress photographs and time-lapse video snippets, if you wish, throughout the process. This can help to reassure you, can also be exciting to watch and is also a nice keepsake.
Give the Final Approval
Once I have completed the portrait, I will email you a scanned and watermarked copy for your approval. At this stage I will be able to make any minor adjustments for you at your request. Once you have given final approval and the portrait has been scheduled for delivery, I will no longer be able to make any more changes.
Mounting & Framing
A beautiful way to finish your portrait off is to have your portrait mounted. All my picture mounts are cut to a deep 45-degree bevel cut to give your portrait more depth and to lift it from the glass of the frame to protect it further.
My standard mount colour is white, but for an additional cost I can source other colour mounts for you. Please let me know if you would like a specific colour and I can provide you with mock-ups to choose from.
Packing & Delivery
Upon full satisfaction of the finished portrait you will then be invoiced for the delivery of your portrait. Delivery can take 3 to 5 working days depending on the country for delivery via a tracked and secured courier. One of the preferred and safest delivery methods in the UK for artwork is Special Next Day Delivery with Royal Mail. I will provide you with a tracking number once the portrait has been scheduled for delivery.
Eco Friendly Packaging
I like to re-use the same cardboard box the frame has come in. Not only is this better for the environment, but it will also be a perfect fit. Again, I like to recycle bubble wrap or other protective packaging materials to reduce plastic waste. Please be assured that I will do my best to package securely to avoid any damage.
